Jesus spent much of His time during His earthly ministry years preparing men and women to be witnesses (martyrs in the Greek) for Him. All of the disciples but one were executed for daring to walk out their faith in this Jesus. Paul, Timothy and scores of faithful men and women have given their lives in the same way down through Christian history......they are "The Undergrounded". All of these were also prepared for this well in advance; they didn't just accidentally stumble into being faithful. Even today,
an average of over 400 men and
women will pay the ultimate price for being faithful...they too were
prepared for this challenge.
What makes them willing to accept this fate?

You can use this teaching to help prepare your brothers and sisters for "what is coming". Paul did this out of love for these people. May that be our motivation as well.
