Desperate times call for desperate measures.

 

I’m quite sure we are all familiar with this famous colloquialism, but I would like to bring the truth of it into the realm of the Church of Jesus Christ here in America. The apostle/prophet, Paul, told Timothy of a time of “difficulty” that was to come upon the Church (2 Timothy 3:1). The expanded meaning of the word “difficult” can be “tumultuous” or “desperate”. I, for one, believe we are already well advanced into these “desperate” times and are probably the least prepared for them. I do not say this lightly in knowing the tactics of our enemy, he really wants Christians to bury their heads in the sand and pretend the “desperate” times are not really meant for them.

 

This is why C.P.P. Ministries has chosen to shift their focus in regard to the seminars we are offering the Body of Christ. We are going to launch a new direction with a Desperate Times – Desperate Measures Conference beginning in the Fall of 2008. This conference will be an overview of these desperate times and a synopsis of the Equipping Seminar & Spiritual Warfare seminar already offered through CPP Ministries. We will have the content of both of these seminars on two CD’s in a narrated Power Point Show format. All conference attendees will be given these CD’s to take back to their home churches for use in the adult education area. We feel this will maximize our efforts in getting this important message out to the Body of Christ as a whole.
